My 16 1/2 inch Cave Optical telescope, Home-made observatory CCD cooled ATIKs and Antenna system
Welcome to the SDR Console KB5AVY New Orleans site. "Bienvenidos amigos"NOTICE: Thanks to Simon for his beautiful program. We have been generating QRM for over 36 years running a few repeaters in this area of Louisiana. luckily, one survived Hurricane Katrina and was used with the help and rescue in the aftermath of the storm. Very honored to have been awarded the W. Sandy Lynch Memorial Award by the Tokyo International Amateur Radio Association. I feel I didn't do anything extraordinay, under all the circunstances.

This is work in progres! Strong AM stations from downtown often overload our receiver. It could be challenging. PLEASE, LOWER THE VISUAL RF ON THE SDR CONSOLE. Regardless, you should be able to receiver the full spectrum from 1.0 khz to 2 GHz during good propagation.

Below, I linked the New Orleans KB5AVY receiver from the websdr.org site that you are welcome to try. This receiver has it limitations, but it does not need any specific program to run it. It can be accessed directly from your browser. It developers is Pitre Tjerk Devrue from the University of Twente. Truly an amazing work, We encorage you to try it.

Search, www.Websdr.org. The site has many radios on line. You can test ours by clicking on the link below or, preferably, search for "New Orleans WebSDR"

I've also included our KIWI-SDR (0 Khz to 30 Mhz) RECEIVER BELOW
